The Walking Dead... (SPOILERS INSIDE!)

At least I don't have to worry about being without my shotgun...the zombie apocalypse is on break until October 14th!! So sad...what will I watch on Sunday nights now?!? :(

The show is equally popular up here in Canada. I've been watching since the start and my wife finally caved in as season 2 started and the group found the farm. Now she's hooked and wants season 3 on dvd asap! Makes me laugh!! She's so not a horror or zombie fan at all but really likes the story...stomachs the gore and brutality. (She loves...I mean loves Daryl!! )

Thats the cool thing about The Walking Dead...it appeals to many different people on different levels. I think its exceptionally well done for TV...every episode has a cinematic feel to it. Similar to Lost, though that went all to hell in the last 2 seasons, it had an epic feel to it and so does TWD.

Yes Sir,

The writers/directors definitely know what they're doing with the show. My wife loves the show too and is the one that always sets the show time reminders on our system. She loves gore though and has been a huge horror movie fan as long as I've known her. I'm glad they didn't kill off the governor this season. It keeps the looming threat open for next season. With all the danger presented to the group by humans this season, one almost forgets all about the walkers. They're portrayed as more of a nuisance now than an actual threat...

Hahaha! Agreed!

My wife, 19 yo daughter and I were all hollering at the screen!! "Someone put a bullet in that psycho!!!" I thought Martinez had some balls and maybe a smidgen of integrity after his little smoke break with Daryl at the leaders summit...but I was mistaken. Thought he would pull the trigger.

We are lovin' that show...just awesome.

I enjoy the story. It's one that makes me tune in, instead of mindless banter like the majority of shows these days. I was hoping that Merle would have got the govnah....but nope. Pow....didnt see that one coming.

i think they are still writing new parts to the graphic novel. i have not read them and only heard of them shortly before the show began to be advertised for season one. i watched from the beginning, took A LOT of flack from my wife about it. that is until i watched the season one marathon the day season 2 premiered. she sat and watched all of them with me. she apologized many times that day for riding me about it, and has not missed one since. she even watches the black and white versions and every episode anytime there is one on.

i'm not sure where next season is going, but i can't wait. the writers keep you on your toes and no one is safe. i do like how the zombies are more of a back story now. like anything, you learn to live with the adversity, especially if you see it day to day. the survivors know more about the walkers and how to stop them.

Personally I wanted Andrea to go in a much better fashion...but...she got what she deserved in the end

being in black and white is a little weird, but i've picked up on a few things in the background that i hadn't seen in color. i have enjoyed them.

Ahhh...I will certainly try to see a few. Thanx...

i'm not sure if amc is playing them any more...they were playing them during most of the 2nd half of season 3. i missed most of them because of work. the pilot was very good in b/w and i almost wish every episode was in b/w

Off to kill a few more people that might be standing in his way... or some that are just standing  I think he'll form his own little renegade road warrior gang...maybe do some raping and pillaging.

I was almost for sure that the Mexican looking dude was going to gun him down with that MP5K but no go... What is up with that?!?!?

I've been wondering the same thing, we thought he was a person a couple episodes back when he had the conversation with Daryll... but now, I'm not so sure... Season 4, why aren't you here yet?

I honestly don't recall being so excited for a show to come on...

Semper Fi my Brothers & Sisters in Arms.

The last show I watched as religiously as The Walking Dead was the First and Second Seasons of "Son's of Anarchy" but then they went WAY down hill with over doing the soft-core porn and gore... there is a certain extent at which there is TOO much on a TV show...

The gov...we thought he was loonie before, but he's definitely off to craaaazy town in a big way now! If Martinez and the big black dude (I think he's credited as "the archer"...didn't catch his real name) want to see many more days alive as humans, they best step up and putz 'Phillip' right in the ol' skull!!

The gov is obviously going to be a continuing story line for at least the first few episodes of season 4...that is unless they 'pull a Morgan' and bring him back much, much later...could be interesting.

Dang...its a long time til October 14th..........................

We were both happy with her dieing. It's been a long time coming from our point of view. She always seemed to cause more trouble than she was worth. I believe she should have bought it on the farm.

As for the Governor, I'm not very happy with him living through. This last season was way to heavy on that story arc and honestly I was loosing interest because of it. Him going "rogue" has intrigued me, but I think one of his dogs should have put him down when he started shooting the townfolk they were trained to protect.
