To Go part of the armory -
Bushmaster XM15 in 6.8 SPC II
Springfield Range Officer .45
Glock 23
And for when everything fails - KaBar!

The missing item is why I'm here, need a shotgun...
Mike, who makes the fore end on your rifle? I like the profile.

I guess this is the place to hang this. No Mossbergs on this display, but I do have a 590 Mariner (stainless I think, but still trying to confirm) in the closet. Anyway, this is my display in the den. Not everything I have, but built this to showoff a few.

Pic is a little cockeyed, my fault.
From top to bottom:

Savage 6A (on top shelf)
1860's Penn Long rifle - Bown & Son, Pittsburg. Civil war history.
1880's Belgian double 12gage - Damascus barrels
Kentucky pistol (CSA reproduction)
1861 Navy Colt (CSA reproduction)
1st Model Iver Johnson .22 Sealed Target 8 (in flap holster)
.41 Mag Ruger Blackhawk (in cowboy rig) - love this gun :)
Harrington & Richardson 40mm Flare pistol Mk III 1916 Queens Mark
Winchester 9422M (1971) (on bottom shelf)
WWII Navy Officers sword (my fathers)
WWII Japanese Samurai (factory made) (captured by uncle on Okinawa)

I reckon that's enough braggin' for now. Thanks for lookin' . ;)

Gunny, that is one great collection and display!!!
i notice the IWO plaque, was your dad on Iwo?

No, Dad was on several ships prior to and during the war. Was ships company on the USS Astoria during the Sino-Japanese Hostilities in '37. Had one destroyer torpedoed running convey escort in the N. Atlantic, and some other adventures. He retired in '60 and passed away a few years ago. He did love the sea. I miss him.

The flare pistol was also Dad's.

The plaque was given to me by my last command when I retired in '83.

If you're interested in history, I can start a thread and post some of what I have, going back to the early 1600's. Don't know what sub-forum would be appropriate tho.

Alway interested Sir,

I appreciate the offer. Feel free to start a new thread in this section if you'd like...

I may, but I don't want to clutter this sub up. Since I'm the new kid on the block, I don't want to be presumptous. But, if there's a wider interest in historical gun/military related stuff, it might be better if there were a sub-forum just for that. I'm sure I wouldn't be only one with something of interest along those lines. :)

go for it Gunny.people here are great,no worry about "the wrong thread",and i know we all like the pics. :D

Well with all the stupid crap going on...and the talk of another AWB. I decided I'd build my Favorite
Shotgun...I'll be running about 300rds through it tomorrow..

Details
Carrier Comp Titanium Mag Tube
Freedom Fighter Tactical - follower, Hammer, Hand Guards, 3/4 Titanium Charging Handle
Side Armour - Rail w/4rd Shell carrier and 2rd carrier..

I'm going to replace the 4rd Carrier for a 8rd and add a Trijicon RMR
Then buy a lot on ammo..
