Day at my personal Range

Went out today on my land. Decided to show you all the guns brought along along with the actual drive. These are the guns as well as a look across the land we own from inside my car. I was about to have some good times!

I apparently can only upload 3 pictures t a time so I got to add a few posts to get all the pictures. Hope you all enjoy them!

A few more images of the drive to the shooting spot. The path ain't very wide I usually use four wheelers to get there but I decided with all the gear I wanted it would be easier to load up the SUV.

All that's it for today. I took a video of me shooting the apple juice but I'm not one to use YouTube so I'm probably not uploading it. Maybe when I go to shoot my TV I will get video and share it!

This was a light day but since I was the only one going out I travelled light. Usually I'd take a skeet thrower, shotguns etc. also we usually place clays in the trees and shoot them down with the pocket pistols. Always a good time.

We have over 100acres of land. We choose to shoot where we do since it's down hill and then into a mountain, no chance rounds will find people or houses. 2 weeks after Easter I will put a lot of images up, a lot of people from work are coming out. We'll have Galils, fn FALS, a BMG Barrett .50, and a few others. Exciting times!

Thanks for the responses! As I've mentioned we have 100 acres. I typically use a four wheeler, but they've been silent all winter and the batteries were dead. So I just loaded up the SUV. But it worked out. Just narrow at some points.

I'll update in another week or 2 with some videos are pictures of us shooting. But since I went by myself, seems hard to shoot and take pictures :/
 
Finally got out to the range ;)

The last one was for sh#ts and giggles, but for a day out shooting could/nt have asked for a better day

Lol,Yeah that's the desert/foothills of tucson for ya. reddington pass to be exact. But for a free spot to shoot with plenty of distance to set up targets for long shots, as long as you get there early ya can't complain.lol ;)

Thank you,built up all of mine on my own. Got a few more in the arsenal, but was just a few that we brought out on a spur of the moment shoot.

Thanks LES. Its by far my favorite work of ink yet. Still have about another 14hrs left to finish it up,but as a vet it's by far the most meaningful one yet. Took me 3 yrs before I could find the right artist to make this dream come to life,lol

Range Report from c_gunner

Weapon- 590A1 (GRS, Bantam stock)

Upgrades to date- Limbsaver recoil pad, Midwest 1pt sling adapter, Brownells Ski-Jump safety, Choate "+1" mag ext.
Accessories- Outdoor Connect Sling, Vortex 8x25 Monocular, Man Mtn & Cali shell caddies.
Ammo- Fiocchi (00 low recoil, #4 buck std, Exacta extra low recoil target) and Sellier & Bellot (#1 and #4 buck)

The guys recognized me after the 3rd visit to the local indoor range, and of course that makes for good chitchat and a great start to my shooting day. After all, a relaxed environment has proven to be very conducive to me getting to know my weapon. Very.

I may divide this post into a few sittings. We'll just have to see how elaborate I'm feeling...
