i finally got to take a pic of my father-in-laws 1950 or 60 something s&w .38 chief. amazing it's never been fired.

Here is my 4566. Got it 14 years ago. Wish they never stopped making the metal frame 3rd gen autos.

I picked up a M&P45C with the FDE frame yesterday. First impressions are favorable. Seems like a very nice pistol. The thing I like about it the best is the way it points. Very natural for me. The grip is a little slick for my taste. May add a Hogue grip sleeve on it to help out. It ought to make a good carry gun. This is a photo from the website, but mine looks just like it.

I was thinking of getting my frame Cerakoted to look something like that. But, that will be way done the line, need to save my pennies for ammo. ;)

Boy, February 1st is taking forever to come. :cry:
 
that might be the first stippling job I have seen that I can truthfuly say I like.....you have honest skill
