And no I didn't set it on fire....
ripjack13 said:I'll check out the dimentions later tonight. Do you have it with you? I would need to know the thickness of it. Just the one side. Assuming it's a 2 piece set. The other dimention would be the widest part. From the nub under the trigger to the nub under the hammer.
LAZY EYED SNIPER said:OK folks,
The ebony Beretta 92 Vertec grips made by our very own ripjack13 arrived yesterday. I had a chance to snap some pics a little while ago. I could waste time talking about how amazing these grips are but like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words...
All I can add to the photos is that they are amazing and my camera really doesn't do justice to the beautiful grain. These presentation grade grips transformed my Vertec into a work of art. rip, I really can't thank you enough for all the time and effort you put into making these for me. I haven't had a chance to take pics of the Hawaiian Koa wood 1911 grips you made me yet, but I'll post them up once I get them mounted...
You are one SERIOUSLY talented man!!!

Take my advice. Don't EVER try to get into doing revolver grips. You'll put over 20-hours into some wood meant to go on one freakin' gun that you can't sell for more then $75.
Sorry, all the rest of you guys that want him to make you some grips. But one-off revolver grips in wood are a huge investment in time and effort that never pays off for the craftsman.......
Please, don't ask him to make you some revolver grips like it is as easy for him as using a chainsaw.
